URL Encryption Configuration

Sniffer Dog creates 64-encryption system to encrypt URL. The Dog will verify if the encryption code is illegal, if not it will be regarded as leeching link. The encrypt code includes client IP, file name and other visiting info, so every encrypt is unique. The encrypted URL displays like http://www.domain.com/movie.rm?urlid=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, and “urlid=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX” is the encrypt code. <br>

 

Encryption parameters are required in the process of encryption. You can set up in this page.

The following table explains the function of each item.

Encryption Key Input an encryption key. Modify the default value is suggested. Please attention that the encryption key here should be the same as the one in the resource host list.
Parameter name To prevent the name of parameter conflicts with the existing program, you can modify it. (e.g. modify http://domain.com/movie.rm?urlid=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX to http://domain.com/movie.rm?movielid=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX)
Verify file name Choose this option if you want file name information to be included in the encryption code. Sniffer Dog will verify if the file name is illegal. An encryption code is correspondent to a file name
Append encryption string to resource link URL of html file automatically AESA is the abbreviation of (append encrypted string automatically). choose this option to encrypt the resource links in html files automatically. Do not need to modify the exist program, nor to add encryptions manually neither

Web file extension name list Web file extension name list in basic configuration. (e.g. add “asp” to this list to encrypt all .asp files)

Web catalog configuration choose a catalog to save html pages. Do not leave html catalog and file configuration options empty at the same time

Resource links URL configuration choose the recourse link and add an encryption string automatically
Append encryption string to media resource link of Real Player automatically choose this option to encrypt resource download link of Real Player

Append encryption string to media resource link of Flash Player automatically choose this option to encrypt resource download link of Flash Player
