Configuration Description of Single-server and Multi-server

Multi-server Configuration

For example, you have three servers, www.movie.com is the web host, and the other two down1.movie.com and down2.movie.com are resource hosts

Web Host Configuration

Install Sniffer Dog to web host, then open “Configuration Tool – Web Host Configuration” page. Add www.movie.com to web host list.

  

Resource Host Configuration

Install Sniffer Dog to resource host, then open “Configuration Tool – Resource Host Configuration” page. Add down1.movie.com and down2.movie.com to web host list. Set up URL encryption string and parameter in “URL Encrypt Configuration”. The value should be the same as those set up in web host. Do not forget to add www.movie.com to trust list.

  

Important Note

• Attention: Set up "URL encryption key",  "Need check the file name" and "parameter name" in "URL Encrypt Configuration". The value should be the same as those set up in resource host.

Single-server Configuration

For example, both of your web and resource hosts are in one server, www.movie.com is web host, and down.movie.com IS resource host.

Configuration

Install IIS Anti-Leech Sniffer Dog, then open “Configuration Tool” page. Add down.movie.com to resource host list, www.movie.com to trust host list and www.movie.com to web host list. The value of the encryption string, parameter and the “whether to verify file name” option in web host should be the same as those set up in resource host.
